In 1998 Mary began teaching to local groups and created her own monthly
groups that still continue and in 2006 weekly classes were added at Aldgate
and Kensington Gardens.

Since the beginning of 2000 Mary has been employed by the WEA where
she continues to teach students of all capabilities. In her teaching Mary
endeavors to encourage participants to enjoy their adventures into Patchwork
and Quilting and to continue to extend their skills and knowledge with confidence.

She enjoys teaching students of all levels of experience, but finds the challenge
of teaching beginners very rewarding.

Mary has taught to SA country groups, at the Melrose Fibre Forum, for the
QGSA and at the QGSA live-in camp Quilt Encounter in 2010, 2008 and 2006,
at Patchwork and Quilting shops in SA, , and has also taught interstate at
Dookie, Victoria and for Australian Quilt Association in Melbourne.
